The 2007 symposium, organized by The American Phytopathological Society in cooperation with related organizations, will bring together leaders in the soybean community to hear results, determine progress, and share perspectives on soybean rust in the 2007 growing season. The symposium program will feature presentations and discussions on such topics as the development of disease resistant varieties, use of fungicides, disease management strategies and tactics, computer simulations, and other areas of importance. A new session will focus on the experiences and perspectives of producers and crop consultants. The full program is available at www.apsnet.org/online/SBR/pdf/SBR07Program.pdf.
