RUST FORECASTS
USDA SBR Forecast 12/07/2005: Very little if any soybean rust transport or deposition forecast. Cold and dry weather in the Southeast giving way to cold, rainy weather.

RUST ALERT: Soybean rust found in Tangipahoa County, Louisiana
12/07/2005 4 p.m. CST -- The USDA today confirmed the first soybean rust find on kudzu in Louisiana, in Tangipahoa Parish. This is the second incidence of soybean rust in the state this year, and the 137th positive U.S. county/parish.

USDA is now giving SBR forecasts only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the rest of the growing season. The North American Plant Disease Forecast Center (NAPDFC) has ended its soybean rust forecasts for the 2005 season. SBR updates might be posted on the NAPDFC site from time to
time.
