Asian soybean rust was found Wednesday and confirmed today in samples from soybean fields in two southeastern Nebraska counties: Otoe and Richardson -- the first ever in the state. There are now 167 U.S. counties and parishes with soybean rust in 15 states -- vs. 94 in only 8 states (all southeastern) on this date last year.
